This morning, I took the kids to get their annual flu shots at their new pediatrician's office. Sarah dreads getting shots. She's worse than Jackson about it...and he's 3! So this year, she was able to get the flu mist. She asked everyone from the secretary where we signed in to the doctor to verify that she could get the nasal mist instead of an actual shot! Other than Jackson turning off the lights in the waiting room and crying when they tried to weigh him and measure his height, he did great! Ha! He's actually old enough to get the mist instead of the shot too, but he came down with a cold late last night, so he had to unfortunately get the shot.
Luckily for these two cuties, one of Mommy's Rules for Life is: get a shot, get a treat! So, we stopped by Chick-fil-A for lunch and milkshakes after our visit to the doctor!
