Christmas Cuties!

I think this is finally the last of the Christmas pictures!
Big J loved snuggling with these two Christmas animals.
Early Christmas morning, Sarah dressed up two of her stuffed animals in their fancy Christmas dresses.
The two most handsome guys I know!
I love this one!
Sarah and Jackson loved looking at the Christmas tree together.

Handmade Christmas Goodies

Since I was little, I have loved making crafts at Christmas time. Now that we have wee ones, I love making Christmas keepsakes with them.
I bought these little books last month from the Target dollar section, then I just taped the kids' pictures in them. They are too cute!!
Then, we used their precious fingerprints to make our snow-family! I wrote their name and the year on the bottom.
Sarah and Jackson also painted a couple of ornaments. Jack mainly used his fingers to smear the paint on his--I love how it turned out!!
Finally, we all made reindeer with our thumbprints!

Christmas

On Christmas Eve before tucking Sarah into bed, she and I put out the milk and cookies for Santa!
Santa brought Sarah a new nutcracker! She loves collecting them!
Daddy reading Jackson one of his new books.
Sissy and Bubba playing with their new toys!
Sarah loves getting new clothes!
Sarah loved this cooking set for Aunt Rachel and Uncle Gus!
Sarah and I baked a homemade chocolate cake for Jesus. After topping it with homemade frosting, Sarah piped "Happy Birthday Jesus" on top. I hope Jesus liked it!!

Dinner

Last Friday evening, Bryan's Nana and Dad took us out to dinner. We had a great time with Bryan's family!
Of course, Sarah loved sitting next to Aunt Rachel!
Jackson had at least 3 breadsticks before our lasagna even arrived!
I love how he looks like he's guarding his bread in this one!

Our Little Monkey

One of the gifts we got Jackson for Christmas was a monkey bath towel. He loves it!
Next time, I'll try to take a picture of him standing up in it, because there is the cutest tail on the back!!

Christmas Cookies!

Yesterday morning, after kissing Bryan goodbye and while Bubs was still sleeping, Sarah and I baked a big batch of sugar cookies.
She loves rolling out the dough and cutting out the different shapes!
Some of the cookies we saved for Santa, some we packed up for the mailman, and the rest we intend to eat ourselves!!
Papa Bear loves the little sugar sprinkles, so we added those to a lot of cookies!
Once they were all finished, Sarah picked out a pink snowgirl to eat!

Gingerbread House

While Jackson was napping today, Sarah and I got to work on our gingerbread house! As always, we had so much fun together! I just love spending time with her!
She's a pro at using the hot glue gun! The creative designer with her finished product!
We added frosting this year, so I don't know if the house will make it until Christmas!

Scooter

Once it warmed up a bit yesterday afternoon, we took a walk so Sarah could test out her new scooter. She has just been riding it in our foyer since it rained the whole week after she got it, so she was super excited to take it for a real spin outside!

Horsey!

Jackson just loves his new horsey, and he's been spending a lot of time riding on it! I bought him this hat last week, and we already had some bandannas. Although he wasn't too sure about wearing either of them, our little cowboy sure looks cute!

Birthday

Yesterday, I turned 28! I'm so old! Luckily, I had a wonderful birthday, so it made me forget about my age!
My sweet Aunt Julie brought over a wonderful red velvet birthday cake! Sarah made me this adorable clay owl in art class. I can't wait to hang it up!
My amazing hubby took me to The Cheesecake Factory for my birthday dinner.
And next month, he's taking me to Ikea to pick out anything I want! He told me this would be my birthday gift months ago, because he knew it would take me forever to decide what to get! Is he the best or what?!
Jackson showing his muscles while waiting for our food. He's too cute!
I chose the dulce de leche cheesecake.
Sarah picked chocolate chip cookie dough!
Although Jack had bites from all 3 of our cheesecakes, he still helped himself to the whipped cream!
Thanks to my wonderful family, I had a wonderful birthday!
