As we're beginning a new week, that's already off to a great start, I wanted to jot down some sweet memories from last week.
Jack and I began the week by grabbing breakfast and going to the library. And just like his amazing Dad, Jackson opens my car door for me. He has such a sweet heart.
And while our weekly dates are not usually fancy, this particular one was.
Our waitress left us this sweet little note.
Instead of getting dessert at the restaurant, we picked up Diamond from the house and Jack from church, and went on a family dessert date!
Milkshakes for all!
Thursday was our usual "Cooking with Jack" night! It's one of our favorite days of the week!
We made puff pastry fruit and cream tarts for dessert,
and for dinner, we all made 4 pizzas!
On Friday, we had "Family Movie Night!" Bryan and I put together the spread, and Jack picked out the movie--a Kevin Bacon horror movie from 1990! I made sure to let the boys know I get to pick the next one!

Sunday was beautiful out, so we took the first top off Jeep ride of the year!
We ate cheeseburgers and fries, then topped off the meal and the ride with milkshakes!
When we got home, Jack was determined to go swimming, and the cold temperature of the pool didn't bother him one bit!
It was such a wonderful week. Completely ordinary, yet completely amazing.
