Way to go, Jackson!

Sweetness on the sidelines.

Jackson received the medal for being a great team player today!

We could hear him from the sidelines telling his teammates, (as well as kids on the opposing team!) "great job" and "nice kick!"

We are so proud of him!

Date with Sarah

Last night, when Sarah got home from her band trip, Papa Bear and I had a date with her!

We stood around the island eating pizza and talking and laughing!  It was the best!

Date with Jackson

Papa Bear and I got to take this cutie on an after school date today (Sarah was at a band contest).  It was such a sweet ending to our week!

Tie Tuesday

This week, for Tie Tuesday at J's school, he wanted to wear his suspenders too.

I can't even.

Cookie Notes

I usually write notes on napkins for their lunchbox...

...but this week, I wrote their notes with cookies!

Soccer

Before his soccer game last Saturday...if only he really could wear his rain boots everywhere!

I snapped this cuteness as they were walking to our field.  I just adore these two!

Way to go, Sarah

Last week, Sarah interviewed to be a leader in the National Junior Honor Society.  She found out last Friday, that she was chosen to be the External Vice President--the one she really wanted!

To celebrate, we had ice cream after school!

We our so proud of Sissy!

Handsome Jackson

They started a new tradition at J's school--if the boys wear a tie on Tuesday, they get to eat lunch with the assistant principal.

Jackson was pretty excited to wear his bow tie yesterday, and I thought he looked very handsome!

Date Day with Bryan

My favorite person.  Our favorite pizza place.
After a long week last week, this little date day was the perfect way to start a new week.  We always love when we can spend time together talking and laughing and eating our favorite pizza...followed by our favorite cheesecake!

Jackson and Mommy in the Morning

I never want to forget the way he wants me to carry him down the stairs every morning or the way we hug and dance in our bathroom before getting ready for school.

Tea for Two

Last night, after I tucked Jackson in, Sarah and I had a little tea party!

Having yummy tea and great conversation with my sweet Sarah was the perfect way to end the day!

Cake for Bryan

Bryan had three overnight call shifts this week...and he has a cold.  So, I wanted to do something to put a smile on his face when he came home this morning. Since I can't bring college football back, I decided to go with the next best thing--carrot cake.

Date Day

Bryan has three overnight call shifts this week, so I'm so grateful we were able to have a sweet lunch date yesterday!

I had the best time with my forever date!  No one makes me laugh like he does (read: until I almost pee in my pants)!  He's my favorite, and I love him so!

Sunday Sweetness

Today after church, we went out for lunch and had a sweet time.  And then we got home, J wanted to ride his bike.

He's just the cutest!

My favorite guys!

I love everything about this picture--Daddy helped Jackson up the hill, their matching shirts, J's new spiderman helmet, and his ever present rain boots.

They have my heart.

Jesus Saves, Bro.

True story.

Bedtime Sweetness

I love the sweetness of bedtime.

I love the one more round of hide and seek, bedtime stories, snuggles, extra kisses, and I love yous.

And I love how cute these two are.

Date with Sarah

Last night, Papa Bear was on call, so after I tucked Jackson in...and read him 3 stories!...Sarah and I had a little date!  We finished the Fuller House season on Netflix and made dreamsicle floats!  It was so much fun!  She's such sweet company!

Date Day with Sarah

Bryan had today off for a follow-up eye appointment, and Sarah didn't have school, so we spent the morning together, and it was just the sweetest!

We went out for breakfast and then did a little shopping.

We all laughed a lot and had a great time just enjoying each other's company!  It was one of those days that's good for your soul.

Date Day

Bryan had the day off yesterday, so we had a date day!  We went to Chick-fil-a for breakfast, then went to Magnolia Market in Waco, and stopped for frozen yogurt before picking Bubba up from school!  It was such a fun day together talking and laughing the whole time!  He was so sweet to take me all the way to Waco to go to Chip and Joanna's newest store!  He's really just the best!

Bryan:  "I came all the way to Waco, and all I got was this hat!"  Ha!

Jackson's Baptism

On November 18, 2014, as we were talking about Heaven, Jackson said, "wive in my heart, Jesus!"  Then, on March 30, 2015, as we were reading about the resurrection in his Bible, he prayed, "Jesus, pwease come wive in my heart!" again!  Jackson knows Jesus is his Savior and wants Him to live in his heart, "because He helps me and loves me, and I love Him!"

Yesterday, Jackson was baptized!  It was so wonderfully special!  All week leading up to his special day, he would shout "yahoooo!" each time we talked about it!  He asked his favorite pastor, Morgan, to do it, and he was so excited when it was finally time!

He's just the cutest!

His feet!

These sweet pictures make me cry all over again.

That smile says it all!

Since being baptized is so special, our church makes the whole thing a huge celebration!

Jackson received a gift bag from the kids' pastors that included a shirt and a devotional.

This picture kills me!

And so does this one of Jackson and sweet Morgan.  He sure is smitten with her...and so are we!

We are all so proud of Jackson!  We know he's doing to do big things for God!

Our sweet kids loving Jesus and getting baptized is something we always pray about, and we are happier than words can convey that they've both chosen to always follow Him!

Baptism Party

All of the grandparents sweetly came to Jackson's baptism, and then we had them all over for a little party!

Bryan grilled hotdogs.

I made mac and cheese, and Bryan picked up some fried okra!

We all had goldfish--J's favorite!--and fruit salad.

Sweet tea and lemonade with green straws--J's favorite color!

Then, because Jackson is just like his Daddy, he loves cherry pie, so I made two kinds!

Jackson had one of each!
