Sarah and I had such an amazing time seeing Daddy this weekend! It was so nice to be able to get together with him if only for a couple of days. Sarah had been counting down the days and planned to give Daddy "103 hugs" when she saw him. I don't know if she made it to 103 exactly, but she got pretty close. Only 8 more days until he's home for good! Hot dog!

Last month, Bryan, Sarah, and I gathered food and other goodies to send to a unit of troops in Iraq that one of my co-workers is related to. Sarah and I made this flag for them, and on the back, she wrote, "Thank you. We love you." Here it is on their fridge. I just thought it was really cool that it obviously meant a lot to the troops.

Growing Up...
Sarah lost her first tooth yesterday! On Tuesday, April 8th, it got really loose when Sarah bit into an apple. Then while at school yesterday, her wonderful teacher, Ms. Hayley pulled it out for her--and followed up with a popsicle!
Sarah was so excited to have lost her first tooth! Since Bryan is out of town right now, she cannot wait to show him!
The (beautiful!) Tooth Fairy left Sarah a $5.00 bill for her first tooth! At first, Sarah said that she was going to give the money to Daddy, but after some contemplation, she decided to keep it for herself!
