Today was Sarah's last awards ceremony of third grade. Bryan was at the hospital, so just Jackson and I went. Sarah received "A" honor roll and great citizenship. Her teacher, Ms. Flores, also gave her the "Philanthropy" award. She said that Sarah is always helping others in the class and thinking of ways to help the world. Ms. Flores said that she believes Sarah is going to "save the world one day." We are so proud of our baby girl!
Sarah reading me one of her stories. It was excellent!
A bunch of Sarah's friends were reading to Jackson while they waited for their parents to arrive. It was so sweet!
My crazy friend, Suzanne!
Sarah with Suzanne's son, Zach, (don't worry, he's not crazy like his mom!).
He and Sarah became instant friends this year! In fact, he asked me the first week of school if he could call her on the phone!! He is such a sweetheart, and the two of them are best buds!
Sarah with her adorable teacher, Ms. Flores. She was an amazing teacher!!
Ms. Flores has a son who is just her whole world, so in addition to getting a few gifts for her, I also got some goodies that she could share with him. I saw the idea for an ice cream sundae kit
here and thought it was too cute! I actually thought about making them homemade chocolate ganache, but I'm not sure how long it keeps, and I didn't want it to go bad, (we never have leftovers when we make it for ourselves!!).
