Life Lately

Life lately has been full.  Full of...

...baking cookies with my best girl,

seeing The Great Showman, (which we both loved!),

 going on family dates and capturing this sweetness,

 post-call dates,

 reading while shopping at the grocery store,

going on weekly dates with this cutie,

and this cutie,

playing checkers--and being beaten!--with this one,

teaching Sunday school,

dating the love of my life,

and being called his "soulmate."

Life lately has been full and so, so sweet.

Jackson the Storm Trooper

On Sunday morning, we woke up and found Jackson in the living room like this!  I loved it so much!

A little while later, this is how he came into the kitchen while Papa Bear and I were making breakfast!

He wore his Storm Trooper costume most of the day.  It's even how we tucked him into bed that night.  I'm going to miss these days of dress-up when they're gone.

Way to Go, Jackson!

The next night, Jackson got the "you are special today" plate for getting a 100 on a math test and great grades on his report card!  We are so proud of him!  The sweet kids love getting this plate--and we love giving it to them!

Way to Go, Sarah!

Sarah found out that she got a 100 on her Biology exam--making that a 100 on all of her finals!  We are just so proud of her!  So, we served her dessert on the "you are special today" plate!  She also received her report card, and her lowest grade was a 98!  Way to go, baby girl!

Happy Birthday, Eevee!

Jackson just loves his stuffed animals!  So much so, that he made up birthdays for each of them.  So, I surprised him with a birthday party for his current favorite friend, Eevee!  We all sang "Happy Birthday" and had cupcakes--the whole shebang!  Jackson loved it!
