Homecoming

Last Friday, we went to our first football game of the season.  It was Homecoming, and our Sarah Bear was one of the homecoming queen nominees!

The band walking into the stadium...with Sarah looking very fancy!

This game was the first one Bryan wore a tie to!

During halftime, they presented the nominees.

These two walking arm in arm down the field...I had tears in my eyes!

The way she's looking at him!

I cannot.

Sarah didn't win, but I'm pretty sure none of us will ever forget this night.

She may be all grown up, but she will always be his little princess.

After the game, the band performed their show, and we got to see Sarah in action!

It was so fun watching her conduct!

She was amazing!

We are so proud of her!

Our Week with Sarah

While Jackson was at camp, we were able to spend the whole time with our Sarah Bear!

The first thing we did all together was make homemade pasta!

We were so proud of ourselves!

The sweetest!

We had such a fun time making dinner, and it turned out to be super yummy!

One afternoon while Bryan went out with an old friend, Sarah and I got lunch and went to a couple of our favorite stores!

She's my favorite!

That same afternoon, Sarah and I decorated one of her jean jackets with patches and buttons.

It turned out super cute!

Just like we did last year, we wore matching outfits one day!

I hope she's always fine with us matching!

One afternoon, Sarah and I made cookies to take to Jackson when we picked him up from camp!

I love baking with her!

We went swimming one evening

and clearly had a great time!

It was the sweetest week with our girl!

Happy Birthday, Sarah!

17 years ago today, God blessed us with our baby girl.  It has been one of the greatest joys watching her turn in to the amazing and beautiful person she is.

She is Jackson's favorite,

Bryan's little girl,

 and my best friend!
And even though she's 17 today, she will always be our baby.
