Soccer!

This morning was Sarah's first soccer game of the season. This year, her team's name is The Blazers! They did wonderful and won 3-0!! After each of the goals, our girls stop playing to cheer and hug the person who shot the goal; it's too cute!
Sarah played a great game! She took two shots, and both hit the goal post. So close!!

I was in charge of snacks this week, so I packed grapes, a mini granola bar, and a cute pencil for each of the girls. Some parents bring chips and candy, so I was proud of my healthy snacks!!

After the game, we went to Target to get a birthday gift for Jackson...three months early! It was on sale and we had a 50% off coupon and he loves it! Haha! We've since hidden it from him though...until his birthday!
Then, we went out for celebratory frozen yogurt! Our little soccer star enjoying her treat!

Cuteness in the Morning

One morning, a couple of weeks ago, Jackson was being so funny when I went in to go get him, that I had to run grab the camera. This is my favorite face!
Here, he is hiding in his stuffed animals!
How adorable is he with his little blankie?! He grabbed it from his bed and took it with him on the car ride to take Sarah to school!

A Morning at the Park

This morning after dropping Sarah off at school, Jackson and I went to the park. It was cool and peaceful and perfect.
The swings are Jackson's favorite! I just want to smush his face!! I took these two pictures with my phone. He was such a big boy on the slide today!
He really liked going down the slide! I was so proud of him!
Before leaving, we got back in the swing for a few more minutes!

Soccer Practice

After a long-awaited hiatus, (according to Beara!), Saturday was the first soccer practice of the new season!
Sarah did a great job!
Just look at her go!
The next few are pictures from my phone.
Check out her high kick in this one!!
Big J cheering for Sissy!

Bluebonnets

One of our favorite times of year in Texas is spring. Because springtime in Texas means bluebonnets. We've been taking pictures in the bluebonnets since Sarah was about 2 months old, and I just adore doing it! For some reason, we didn't go last year, but I think we more than made up for that this year with all of the pictures we took!!
This is one of my favorites!
There are a million just like this one of Sarah and Jackson holding hands.
I love how it shows that she is so good at helping and protecting him and that he will follow her anywhere. Pure sweetness.
This is one of my favorites...it looks like they're praying.
It was hard to get pictures of Jackson looking at the camera, because there were so many other cool things to see and discover. But I love how they turned out with him not looking at me!
Reaching out her hand for Jackson to hold...makes my heart melt!
Look at how his eyes are closed so tightly! Love!
He's saying "Whoa!" here!

The Library and Playdough

Last week, we took the kids to the library, one of Sarah's favorite place!
As soon as we walked in, I spotted a big version of Hug, one of Jackson's favorite board books! Sarah just adores picking out lots of books and diving right into them!
When we got home, I made playdough for the kids using this recipe. Sarah and I made one last year that was cooked on the stove, and we loved it! However, since this one didn't have to be cooked it was even easier, and I was able to whip it up in just a few minutes!
I think Jackson really liked it! Sarah is always an artist with her work!
The wee ones had a great time!
Yes, this is Jackson eating it. Luckily, I thought that might happen ahead of time, and this playdough was completely edible!! : )
