Donuts with Daddy...and Mommy

This week, Jackson's school had their annual Donuts with Daddy. 

 

Bryan was unfortunately on call on Thursday, so he took Jackson out for donuts on Wednesday when he got finished with work.

Yesterday morning, I was J's date for the Donuts with Daddy!  Luckily, he was fine with me filling in for Papa Bear!

 

I think he enjoyed the donuts!

The other day, Jackson worked on his "homework" as he calls it.  He spent so much time carefully writing each letter of the alphabet on his little board!  He needed a little help when it was time to write the "X" but when he asked Daddy for help, he thought J was asking for the letter "S"--which is why there's a random "S" at the bottom!

We are so proud of Jackson!!

Shining Star

Jackson was Shining Star this week at school!  The last time it was J's turn to be the Shining Star, he was sick with pink eye, so he couldn't wait to finally have his chance again!

 

When you're the Shining Star, you get to be the line leader and hold the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance.  J was so excited!!

And after we picked him up from school, I had to take these cute pictures!

I Love Erin

On Tuesday morning when I got home from taking Jackson to school and running errands, I saw this on the fridge.  Something so simple, but it made my whole day...especially because the last time Bryan left me a message on the fridge, it was, "Erin stinks"!  I am so blessed to by married to such a great guy!

Easter Baskets

I don't know how I forgot about the kids' Easter basket pictures, but better late than never!

 

After Bryan and I served at church on Easter Sunday, we gave the kiddos their Easter baskets!  I had so much fun putting them together!

This is Sarah's favorite new animated movie!  She and Bryan went to see it on a date together, and she loved it!  So, when it came out right before Easter, I had to get it for her basket!

Bluebonnets

Last Thursday after school, Jackson and I went on a trip to see if bluebonnets were blooming.  They were...so we stopped to take pictures!

 

He chose to wear his rain boots that day--much like every day!--and I love that these sweet pictures include his favorite shoes!

On Saturday morning, we went back to the bluebonnet field with Sarah!

I just love how sweet they are together!

Easter Egg Hunt

After Easter service on Saturday, the Easter Bunny came!  He came early because rain was scheduled for Sunday!
