Great Job, Sarah!

Last night, we were invited to an awards ceremony at Sarah's school.

 

I couldn't help but take this picture of my babies on the way in.

Sarah received several awards!  One for Band, History, Reading, Math, making "A" honor roll all year, and--my favorite--one for kindness!  In addition to receiving an award in History and Reading for one of the quarters, she also received an award in both of those courses for being the best student all year!  We are beyond proud of our baby! 

At the beginning of the ceremony, the principal asked the audience to hold our applause until every name had been read in that category.  Well, Bubba couldn't help but clap when he heard Sissy's name being called!  It was so sweet!

Bryan's Birthday!

On Sunday, we had a great time celebrating Papa Bear!

 

 It started with a breakfast of champions!

After church, I took a picture of he and the kiddos!

One of our favorite birthday traditions is picking out whatever you want for your home-cooked meal!  Bryan chose cheese grits topped with apple butter and a pork chop, creamed spinach, and homemade biscuits.

For his birthday dessert, he picked buttermilk pie.

After dinner, we call sang "Happy Birthday" to our favorite guy!  And the kids helped him blow out the candles!

He's the best husband and Daddy, and we hope he had a wonderful birthday!

Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, we went to a little amusement park to celebrate Bryan and his dad's birthday!  It was so much fun!

 

First up, the go carts!

Then, we all played miniature golf and had a blast!

We cheered each other on...and also make fun of each other!

Like here, for instance, when everyone was looking for Sarah's ball...in the bushes!

Way to go, Daddy!

I think everyone's favorite was the bumper boats!  J was tall enough that he was able to drive one all by himself!

Sarah and I rode together the first time, and the next time, I just watched and took pictures and stayed dry!

They went on the go carts again.  This time, Jackson rode with Grampy, and Grand Nana rode with Bryan.

Jackson loved this mini roller coaster!

Happy Birthday, Bryan!

Happy Birthday to our favorite guy!  You are the best husband and Daddy, and we are so blessed to call you ours!  We love you, Papa Bear!

Yesterday was the last soccer game of the season!

 

It was also trophy day!

Jackson loved his coaches!

He did such a great job, and we are so proud of him!

A Drawing from Jackson

Late last night (when he was supposed to be sleeping!), Jackson brought this down!

 

It says "I love you Mom" and has a drawing of the two of us--I have a flower!  He melts my heart!  I hope he always writes me love letters!
