Jackson Update!

Today, I had another appointment with my doctor to check on Jackson. I told the doctor that I think he moves more than he sleeps, and he said that's great because it means he's healthy! Thank God! We can't believe he'll be here in just 3 months!!
Bryan's mom bought this for Jack, and it's currently my favorite little onesie! A couple of weeks ago, we went to Costco and used their great coupons to buy his first package of diapers and wipes! It's silly how excited these two boxes make me!! This weekend, we went to Target to registry for the little guy. Although we're too far away from family to have an actual baby shower, there are still a few items we need. While we were registering, Sarah wanted to pick out a special baby blanket for her little brother, so we bought that for her to give to him. She still uses the baby blanket we got her, and now, she can't wait for Jackson to snuggle up in his!

A Day Trip!

Today, we took a drive to the small town of Boerne. We had a wonderful time!
Sarah by the koi pond at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch. I love her face! After we ate, we fed the ducks.
Sarah LOVES feeding ducks!
Bryan, the all-star soccer player!
Sarah was not happy that Daddy scored a goal!

She's getting ready to kick this into Daddy's goal!
Too cute!
Bryan, me, and my big belly! Love it!

Fancy Nancy!

Today was dress up as your favorite book character day, and Sarah has been buzzing about it all week! Her favorite character--and mine!--is no other than Fancy Nancy! So this morning, we transformed Sarah into her!
Fancy Nancy--for those of you who don't know.
But you really should go buy one of her books if you don't; they are the cutest! Fancy Sarah...or should I say...Sophisticated Sarah!
I love her whole ensemble!
From the tiara and pearls, to the white gloves and tutu, Sarah's outfit was perfectly fancy in every way!

Open House

Last night, the three of us went to Sarah's Open House at school. It was so much fun to see all of her classwork, her favorite centers, learn the songs that they sing, and read the stories she's written!
Here's a picture of Sarah showing us the map of her face.
(It was the only one I took because there were a lot of parents there. One mom was texting the whole time she was there--I don't know why she even came! How rude!)

Meat

Lately, Sarah has spent a lot of time showing us her muscles...or as she calls it, her "meat." It cracks Bryan and me up!! I don't know if all of this meat talk has to do with her coach in PE saying she was an all-star last week or the fact that she loves daddy's big muscles, but it is too funny!
Sarah showing off her meat while growling!!

Sarah's Boyfriend

Last week, Sarah showed us this Valentine card that her "boyfriend" Trey made for her. (I don't know why she showed it to us weeks after Valentines, but whatever.) All Bryan could do was shake his head.
My favorite part is: T+S=heart
This morning I was in line at the grocery store, and low and behold, Trey's mom was in front of me. She told me that yesterday at the school book fair, he bought a diary. She said that his first entry was,
"Dear Diary, I have fallen in love with a girl named Sarah."
Oh my!!

A Visit to the Doctor

Last week Bryan had a really bad cold, that unfortunately got a lot worse over the weekend. After rest, medicine, and cups full of hot tea and honey, Sarah decided it was time for him to visit the doctor...Dr. Sarah that is!
Here is a list of all of Daddy's ailments:
runny nose
bad cough
headache
stomachache
body pains
Luckily, he's doing a lot better now. I wonder if it has anything to do with his recent trip to the doctor!

Dragon Art

This afternoon, Sarah brought home her latest art project, Lulu, the dragon. Sarah informed me that her teeth have venom in them and everything!
Sarah and Lulu looking ferocious!

Jackson Update

Yesterday I had one of my check-ups for Jackson and everything was great! His heartbeat was perfect as always, and he and I were both measuring right on target for 23 weeks. We can't wait to meet him in just 17 more weeks!!
