In August, Sarah started her sophomore year of college at UT.

She and her roommate and bestie sent us this picture on their first day!

Speaking of first days of school, we started our first full year of home schooling Jack!  

And even though it's home school, we still take a first day of school picture,

and we still go get a first day of school treat afterwards!

We officially started home schooling Jack last year, and the 3 of us loved it so much!

In addition to regular curriculum,

we also visit museums.

We check out tons of books from the library,

and read them at home

and at coffee shops.

He reads history graphic novels, and I read cookbooks, and it's perfect.

We planted a garden.

Diamond was our project manager.

We read the Bible every morning before we move on to schoolwork.

We go on lots of walks.

We throw the football

and play basketball.

Sometimes, we wear jammies to our classroom.

We do a lot of cooking,

we watch a lot of documentaries,

and we play a lot of board games.

Jack is such a sweet, cool, and wonderful young man, and we are so blessed to have this extra time to spend with him!

We love him so much!
