This month, Bryan is working in the ICU. His schedule consists of a shift from 7 AM to 5 PM, a call shift from 7 AM to 1 PM the following day, then the next 36 (ish) hours off. Last night, was his first night on call, so Sarah and I decided to have a slumber party!
We made homemade pizza--one of our favorite things to do!
While we ate it, we watched "Bolt!"
Then, it was time for ice cream sundaes!
Before bed, we decided to be truly girly and put on face masks. We mashed up one banana and mixed in a tablespoon of honey, then put it all over our faces! Sarah liked the cucumbers on her eyes, and once we washed the fruit off of our faces, they were really soft!
We stayed up late talking before Sarah drifted off to sleep...around 9:15. Although we missed Bryan like crazy, it was nice having a sleepover, just us girls!
Now, we're off to the library to get some new books, then to the store to pick up ingredients to make rice krispie treats for daddy! We can't wait until he gets home today!!
