Tricycle, Helmet, and Pie

Last Thursday was Bike Day at J's school, so we took his tricycle!

The kiddos had to wear a helmet to ride at school, so Jackson picked out a Spiderman helmet at Target on Wednesday!

He was really excited to take his tricycle and new helmet to school!

After school, Jack wanted to ride some more!

I love his little hair sticking up in the back!

He's so cute!

This has nothing to do with the tricycle, but Bryan had been asking for a chocolate pecan pie, so that's what I made for dessert on Thursday.  Daddy actually had to work a little later than normal that night, so the kids got the first two slices!

Jack asked for me to take his picture before having the pie, and obviously, I was happy to oblige!

And then I had to take one of Sarah Bear too!

Bryan Passed!

Bryan's unfortunately sick right now...with my cold from last week...so I feel horrible. I had plans to make dinner tonight, but he came home and asked if I wanted to pick up Johnny Carino's instead. Since he's sick, he gets whatever he wants. As I was on my way to get dinner after picking Sarah up from school, Bryan called to tell me that he passed the Anesthesia Oral Board exam that he took 2 weeks ago! (It's just pass/fail--there's not an actual number score.)  He was beyond excited, and so was I! After picking up dinner, I stopped by Sonic to get milkshakes for all! Once I got home, I put Bryan's chicken parmesan on the "special plate!" I never doubted him for a second, but I'm still so proud of him!

Easter Lunch

We were so excited to have Bryan's Dad join us for church yesterday morning!

After church and the Easter Bunny visited our house, we went to Bryan's Nana's house to have lunch with his side of the family.  After a delicious meal, the Easter Bunny stopped by Grand Nana's!

The kids were excited to hunt for even more eggs!

In addition to yummy candy, Grand Nana got the kiddos money and lots of fun toys, so they gave her big thank you hugs!

Harmonicas were their favorite new toy from Grand Nana!

They were so cute and had so much fun playing them that I couldn't help but take far too many pictures!

So cute!

Before leaving, the kids had to snuggle with Nana!

It was so fun spending the afternoon with Bryan's family!

Easter Egg Hunt

After church yesterday, the kiddos got their Easter baskets!

They were opening their goodies so quickly, that this is the best picture I got!  Ha!

Then, the Easter Bunny came!

For a girl who sometimes acts like she's too big for her britches, she sure had a great time hunting for eggs yesterday!  We loved watching her run around the yard and laugh as she found the candy-filled eggs!

Love!

Shut up!

I tried to snap a picture of them standing with their full buckets, but J decided to sit so he could start eating!
