Christmas
The day after Christmas, my family came to celebrate with us.
Sarah loves anything about Paris, so this artwork from Aunt Hillary and Uncle Logan was right up her alley!
Sarah flipped when she saw all of her new earrings from Grandpa! There's a pair for every outfit--what more does a girl need?!
Sarah also loved a collection of books by one of her favorite authors.
Grandpa got Jackson this Aggie football that turns into Reveille, (the Aggie's mascot). J loves it--he's slept with it the past two nights, and it's so cute!
These two adore each other!
Next to the football, Jackson's favorite gift was this sock monkey in-a-box from my cousin Lauri! He played with it forever just laughing the whole time!

Jackson ended the night by playing in a bag!

Pip Namebe
This year, Elf on the Shelf came to visit us for the first time! He hides in a different spot each day, and the kids love trying to find him every morning--some days, they needed our help to spot him. After the first couple of days, J would wake up and shout, "Namebe!" then immediately start looking for him once we brought him downstairs!
Some days, he would show off his acrobatic skills.
Other days, he would just find a good spot to watch over the wee ones and make sure they were being good to report back to Santa.
One time, Pip Namebe was naughty to show what not to do! Sarah said she already knew not to draw on picture frames! That's good!
A couple of times, he even brought the kids little presents! This was a definite favorite!
The kids loved the powdered donuts he left to go with breakfast one morning!
Jackson had never had powdered donuts before. He loved them...go figure! Is this not the most adorable sugar-covered face?!
On Christmas morning, Pip was holding baby Jesus. He is the true reason for Christmas.
Since Pip was part of the Nativity scene that we kept on a little table, Jackson thought that meant he could finally hold him! He hugged and kissed Pip Namebe so many times Christmas morning!
Later, I found Jackson coloring with some new crayons that we got him (one of his favorite gifts), while Pip was sitting in a chair right next to him. So cute!

Santa Hat
We have 3 Santa hats, and Jackson has loved wearing them all month long!
He was on the go in this picture, but I love his little face!
I've never seen Santa wearing camo, but it's sure cute on J!
Working with his letters.
One day, he even wanted to wear it for naptime! Look at that smile--how could I say no?!
Sometimes, he brings me one to wear too!

Christmas Cuties
Every Christmas, I hang up pictures from previous Christmases. We have so much fun looking back at them. I posted this picture on Instagram of our two cuties on their first Christmas.
Sarah is on the left, and Jackson is on the right. It's crazy how much they look alike!
Christmas Morning
Sarah woke us up at 7:00 AM on the dot Christmas morning to open gifts! Our favorite thing is definitely watching the kiddos open their presents! We told Jackson all day on the 24th that Santa was coming that night and that the next day would be Jesus' birthday, so I was afraid that he would be expecting Santa and Jesus to be at our house when he woke up Christmas morning!
Sarah was excited to get new books...
...and cute little ear muffs!
Sarah started one of her books in between opening gifts...she finished it before the day was over!
Jackson loved his fire truck from Grand Nana...
...and his grill from Nana and Grandpa!
Sarah couldn't put her new robe from Great Grandma and Papa on fast enough!
One of Sarah's favorite gifts was the Taylor Swift perfume that we got her.
He is a mess!
Bryan's parents got the kids cowboy boots, and they both just love them!
We got Jackson an Aggie football helmet, and Bryan was showing him how to put it on. It was the cutest! I can't believe he let me take a picture of it!
This is not the best picture of the helmet on J, but he was on the move, so I'll take what I can get!
Before eating breakfast, we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus...or Baby Jesus as Jackson calls Him!
The cake that Sarah and I made!
We ate some of the cake with our breakfast...which was good, because I don't think Jackson could have waited much longer!
