Family Date

Last week, we went on a family date to the Gaylord Hotel.  They have it decorated so beautifully at Christmas, and we had so much fun just walking around.

Jackson loved the train.

They are the cutest!

They have a coffee shop that sells enormous cookies, and the kids were so excited to get some!

They have a Build-A-Bear Workshop inside the hotel and since Jackson's never been, we thought it would be so much fun to take him--especially since Sarah Bear loved it so much when she was his age!

He picked out Eevee--a Pokémon.

He loved helping stuff her.

Daddy helped make the birth certificate.

All finished!  He loves her so much!

They have my heart.

Family Movie Night

On Sunday night, we had our first Family Movie Night of the month!  We watched, Elf, one of our absolute favorites!  We crack up during the whole thing and can quote most of it!  It's just the best!  And to go with it, we had our second annual Elf Dinner!

The Four Main Food Groups--candy, candy canes, candy corn, and syrup!

Coke and nuts!

Spaghetti and pop tarts!

Gum drops and trees from the Candy Cane Forest!

The world's best cup of coffee!

Snowballs!

Pip Namebe Returns

On December 1st, our Elf, Pip Namebe returned!  He brought chocolate milk and donuts with him!  Jackson was so excited!  When he went to get the donuts, Pip fell over, so Jackson kissed him and apologized.  It was the sweetest!

Decorating the Christmas Tree

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we set up the Christmas tree!  We would have set it up before Thanksgiving, but Bryan was so stinkin' busy with work!

We just love decorating it and reminiscing about each of the ornaments!

Little Buddy putting up the ornaments!

 Sweetness.

We've moved the furniture in the den around since last Christmas, so we put the tree in a different spot, and we love it!  You can see it from the kitchen, and it's just so pretty!  You can also see a little cutie!

The tree at night is my favorite!

Dr. Jackson

Yesterday, Jackson brought home this mini Jackson that he made.  It's him as a doctor, which is what he wants to be when he grows up.  Just like his Daddy.  His Daddy is his hero, and it melts my heart.

Thanksgiving

Last week was Thanksgiving break, which meant the kids were out of school, which meant I was in heaven!

On Monday, Sarah and her best friends--and her boyfriend!--had their first ever Friendsgiving!  She was so excited!  We made her delicious butternut squash, zucchini, and spinach lasagna together for it, and she couldn't wait to share it with her friends!

Papa Bear was on call on Thanksgiving, so Jackson and I took him one of his favorite dinners and desserts that night.  (Sarah Bear spent the night with one of her best friends.)

 I love these two goobers!

On Friday, we went to Bryan's parents' house for Thanksgiving.  I made two kinds of sweet potatoes and three desserts--trying to include each of my babies' favorites!

Thank you, God.
The three of them holding hands was all Jackson's idea, and it melts my heart!

When we got home from Thanksgiving, Bryan and Sarah were hugging in the kitchen.  Whenever there's a hug going on, Jackson can sense it, and has to be a part of it--if he's not already!  So once he joined in, I quickly grabbed the camera to capture the sweetness, then Sarah told me to join in...which is exactly what I did after I snapped this.  Family hugs are my favorite.

Dates

Yesterday, we took the kiddos on dates.  We love doing this, and our sweet babies were literally counting down to Sunday...and so were we!

Sarah and I went to Target and did some shopping!  And then, we went to see Wonder.  I hadn't read the book, but Sarah had.  She said it was "sweet, funny, wonderful, and aggressively sad."  So, along with our dark chocolate covered raisins mixed into our popcorn, we also brought a whole box of Kleenex!  We had such a great time!  I just love her so stinkin' much and always cherish our time together!

Jackson and Daddy went to get fried chicken, then went to Cabela's, and to the park!  They had a great time together too!

Legos

Last night before bed, Jackson was building Legos--one of his favorite past times--and as he was still working he asked, "Mommy, can you take a picture of my Legos when I'm finished building?!"  Always, sweet boy.  Always.

Jackson Lost Another Tooth

Yesterday, Jackson lost his second front tooth at school!

He was so excited to show us when we picked him up!

And he was also really excited to leave it under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy last night!
It's true what they say...babies don't keep.

Halloween

Last night, we had the best time trick-or-treating with our little Storm Trooper!
Isn't he the cutest?!

He loves all things Star Wars, so when he saw this costume at Target, he had to have it!  It was all he could do not to wear it out of the store!

We love him so!

He just loves trick-or-treating, and we loved watching him!
