Last week, I finished a project that I've been working on for what seems like forever! I've wanted to make a fun gallery wall in the kids' gameroom for some time now, and I'm so happy that it's done!
This picture isn't the greatest due to where the windows in this room are located, but this is the wall. I love it so stinkin' much! The vast majority of these frames I already had, so it was a super cheap project! I put everything on the wall while Jackson was napping. Bryan does all of the measurements for projects like this in his head, and since he was at work while I did this, I just eyeballed everything!
The "ABC" print is from this site.
The "Jesus Loves Me" print is from this site.
The black frame at the bottom was $1, and I just painted it with chalkboard paint and wrote "love" on it.
The "You are my Sunshine" print is from this site.
I saw the "I Whale Always Love You" print for sale on this site--via Pinterest--but I knew I could make it for free. About 2 weeks later, we received a thank you card from one of our dearest friends after sending a birthday gift to her daughter. The card had this whale on the front! It was fate! : ) So, I cute him out, then used cardstock and stickers from my craft stash and popped the whole thing into a frame I already had on hand. I love it!
The bottom picture is of Sarah holding Jackson in the hospital room for the first time shortly after he was born. I just adore this picture!
I made these silhouettes of the kids, and I think they're precious! Although I may go back and make another one of Sarah with a bow in her hair--because she's rarely without one!
This is one of my favorite pictures. In the spring when we took pictures in the bluebonnets, this shot looked like the kids were praying, so I put Bible verses over the picture--one for every letter of the alphabet. I love how it turned out!
Here it is up close.
I got this frame months ago for 50% off at Hobby Lobby with a gift card that my Dad got me for Christmas last year. (Thanks again, Dad!) This is one of my favorite pictures of Sarah and Jackson. Sorry about the flash!
This collage has one of their sonogram pictures and a picture of them in the hospital. Love it!
These pictures I just cut and mod podged onto 10 cent tiles I had in my stash from Lowe's.
I made this frame from two different frames using this tutorial. I wish I had sanded the bottom piece of wood down more, but I hate sanding, so I didn't spend too long on that process! I love how it turned out though!
This is just an extra canvas I already had that I stapled fun fabric onto. I just taped the pictures to the fabric so I can change them out over time without messing up the fabric or canvas.
I hung everything on the wall using different sizes of these Command Strips. These are my favorite because I hate using nails! (These make great stocking stuffers...hint, hint!)
