Sarah's Birthday

We celebrated Sarah Bear's birthday for a little over a week, and she loved it!

The Friday before her birthday, her two best friends in the who world came over after school to spend the night!

We went to dinner at one of Sarah's favorite taco restaurants on Friday night.

Then, Saturday morning, we went to one of her favorite breakfast spots.

She loves these girls so much.  And so do we!

On Sarah's actual birthday, she got to pick her birthday meal.  She chose a fancy grilled cheese and fresh fruit.  She is so my daughter.

Then for dessert, she chose one of our favorites--a chocolate--caramel tart!

She does love plants!

Last weekend, we had the grandparents over to celebrate!

Happy Birthday, Sarah!

15 years ago today, God blessed us with our baby girl!  She was 7 pounds and 3 ounces of perfection!  We never knew we could love someone so much until she was placed in our arms.  Although she's 15 today, she will always be our baby.

Valentine's Day

To celebrate Valentine's Day, I made breakfast for dinner!

We had red velvet pancakes

and chocolate covered strawberries.

We also had raspberries

and regular strawberries.

I also wrote each of my loves little notes.

We also got both kids big boxes of chocolates.  And Sarah got the movie Wonder and Jackson got a new Star Wars chapter book.

Donuts with Dad

Yesterday morning, was Donuts with Dad for 2nd grade.  Bryan never gets to go to these because of his work schedule, so he always takes Jackson to get donuts in the evening instead.  But he just so happened to be post-call yesterday morning, so he was able to go.  Jackson was so excited!  They had a great time together!

Way to Go, Sarah!

Earlier this week, Sarah found out that she was ranked number 2 in her class!  We are so stinkin' proud of her!  So Tuesday night, I served her dinner on the "you are special today" plate!

She may be number 2 in her class, but she's number 1 to us!

Vow Renewal

To celebrate and commemorate our 15th anniversary, Bryan and I renewed our vows yesterday.  We each wrote our vows and recited them to each other while our sweet Sarah took pictures.  It was the just perfect.  Truly.

At the beginning, his vows made me laugh.  But I knew, they would make me cry by the end...and they did. 

I'm so grateful to Sarah Bear for capturing all of these.

He has my heart.  15 years later.  And forever.

Anniversary

In 8th grade, we met. In 9th grade, I told my best friend I was going to marry Bryan Crowder one day. In 12 grade, he asked me to be his girlfriend. And 15 years ago today, we got married. He’s my best friend, my soulmate, my better half, and my absolute favorite person. I am more in love with him today than I was 15 years ago—and I loved him so stinkin’ much then! I am so grateful for this life we’ve created together, and I can’t wait to continue spending the rest of my life with him.

Rock, Paper, Scissors

Yesterday on our weekly date, Jackson and I were arguing over who missed whom more while he was at school, so we played rock, paper, scissors to determine the winner!

A Thank You Note

Bryan always leaves thank you notes on the receipts for our servers, and last week when we went out to eat, Jackson wanted to leave one for our waitress too.

I love that he has such a great role model.
