Today, we went to the pumpkin patch for the 11th year in a row! It's our favorite thing to do in the fall. Actually, college football is Bryan's favorite, but that doesn't count! Jackson was sick this week with a fever, so we skipped Bible Study on Wednesday and MDO on Thursday. This Saturday was one of the only times we could go to the pumpkin patch due to Bryan's work schedule this month, so we were all hoping Bubba would be feeling better! It was also forecasted to rain today, so again, we weren't sure if we would be able to make it! As I was walking into Jackson's room this morning to wake him up, I looked down the hallway into Sarah's bedroom, and she was on her knees praying that it wouldn't rain! After I woke J up, the first thing he said was, "Pwease wanna go punkin patch!" Luckily, his fever was completely gone, and he just had a runny nose!! And, since it was just misting before we left, we decided to brave the mid-50 degree temperature and have some family fun!

We've been taking Sarah to the pumpkin patch since before she could walk, and she just loves going!

We went on a hay ride! Jackson had never been, and before we even got on, he started crying! We were the last ones to board, and everyone else may or may not have been staring at us because J was crying! Bryan took our picture--without me even asking!--and at this point, Jack is still not enjoying himself!

When we were walking to the truck after buying our pumpkins, J said, "I had fun at punkin patch!" And once we were driving away, Sarah said, "This was the best Saturday!" Their sweetness made the whole day even better!
One the way home, we went out for lunch.
Then, the wee ones put their pumpkins on the front porch.
