In September of 2014, Bryan and I bought what we thought was to be our forever home...our forever home on this earth...our true forever home is with Jesus in Heaven.
We loved this home. And we loved our time here.
We also loved the land.
After a bad hail storm, while we were having the roof replaced, we decided to paint the house. We loved the red brick, but there were several bad stains on the red brick that were not coming out.
This is what the house looked like afterwards. We loved it even more than the original red house, and we never thought that was possible.
After living here for almost 9 years, we started thinking about having a smaller house on a smaller piece of land even more out in the country. So, we bought a couple of acres up north, then built a custom home.
We moved in December 2nd.
On March 6th, we put our old home on the market. On March 9th, we received an offer. We went under contract on March 10th.
On March 26th, we signed the paperwork over to the new family. Bryan and I went back to the house afterwards to take one last picture. We truly loved this home and have so many precious memories of our time there.
All that being said, we are really enjoying our new home too, and we are so grateful to God for blessing us with both!
