Vacation Day 2--Muir Woods

The second day of our trip started with Jackson reading on the stairs...

...and then outside while Daddy got out of the garage.  I love what a bookworm he is!

When we got the Muir Woods, we were all so amazed at how beautiful it was.

We stayed in awe of God's beauty the entire time we were there.

Jackson loved stopping to read all the signs.

There came a point throughout the miles long trek through the woods where we were all done walking...this was one of those times for me, so sweet Bryan held my hand and helped me.  Love him.

The woods--God's creation--were amazing.  We had a great time!

Vacation Day 1

About a week and a half ago, we left for vacation!  We went out to California, and our first stop was San Francisco!

We didn't arrive at our Air Bed and Breakfast until after midnight on Friday.  So, on Saturday, after sleeping in for a bit, we started making our way around the city.  We had coffee that morning, then went to the sweetest little market to get a few things.  While Sarah was looking at all of the beautiful flowers, Jackson was interested in other things!

We stopped at our first bookstore, and Sarah loved it...but then again, she loves all bookstores!

Then, we took the subway--not a fan--to Chinatown for lunch.

Lunch was delicious!

While walking to one of the piers after lunch, we had to stop at Jackson Street!

We popped into another bookstore while at the pier.

The houses are all so pretty.

A Sweet Day

Today was a sweet day.  We all slept in, Sarah took Jackson out for breakfast, we planted flowers, and then we ate dinner outside.

These three are my absolute favorite people.

New Car

 Sarah's car, (which is Bryan's old truck), has been having some issues.

So, yesterday we surprised her with a new car!

She flipped out, and it was precious!

She took us all for a new ride, all the while, thanking us profusely!

Sarah's Birthday

Although her birthday is today, we actually celebrated our sweet Sarah last night, (because she has band tonight).

For her dinner, she chose pesto tortellini, garlic bread, and salad.

And for dessert, she asked for nutella cookies.

Over 17 years ago, at our baby shower, we were given a book for Sarah that came with handwritten notes from everyone who attended.  We gave it to her last night, and she loved it!

We still can't believe she's 17!

Happy Birthday, Sarah!

17 years ago today, God blessed us with our baby girl.  It has been one of the greatest joys watching her turn in to the amazing and beautiful person she is.

She is Jackson's favorite, 

Bryan's little girl,

 and my best friend!

And even though she's 17 today, she will always be our baby.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day started with Jackson taking chocolates and this handmade card to a little girl in his class that he's had a crush on for a while now.

I wrote love notes to my three loves,

 and we ended the day with all the sweets!

17 Years Later

17 years later, and I love him more than I ever knew was possible.

He's my best friend and my soulmate,

and I can't imagine life without him.

17 Years!

17 years ago today, I walked down the aisle and said, "I do" to my best friend and the cutest boy I'd ever seen!  Each day, as I wake up next to him, I can't believe that I'm living out my dream.  I can't believe that I get to be his wife, that I get to raise kids with him, and that I get to grow old with him.  I'm so grateful that God made him for me and me for him.
