More Family Pictures

After our time at the beach, we showered our sunburned-selves, got dressed, and ready for dinner!

She's my bestie!

After walking around for a bit, we went into the cutest little bookstore and let the kids each get a book.

I love how much they both love to read.

Beach Day!

We had the best time at the beach!

Our kids--and us, for that matter!--have never been to such a beautiful beach as the one we went to in Florida!  The sand was white, and the water was so many shades of blue.  Sweet Sarah said she never even knew the ocean was actually different colors of blue like you see depicted in paintings--she always thought the painters were just making that up!

Jackson is his happiest in the ocean!  He laughs the whole time!

This is us 4 years ago.

Family Pictures

After New Orleans, we drove to Florida and stayed in this adorable little town called 30A.  The first afternoon there, once we got settled in to our house, we took some family pictures before we went to dinner.

 This is my new favorite family picture!

Another day while we were there, the boys wore their matching Hawaiian shirts!  Jackson was so excited!

Vacation...Day One...New Orleans

Two weeks ago, we started our vacation...

...and we started it as we always do, with Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, and a family picture!

We started our vacation in one of our favorite cities, New Orleans!  After making the long drive, we dropped our luggage off at our home away from home, and walked to get dinner.  Sarah put her head on Papa Bear's shoulder, as she often does, and it was the sweetest.

In the morning, we walked to Cafe Du Monde, and it was delicious, as always!

...and this is us in the exact same spot.  I can't believe how much bigger J has gotten!

Jackson's Birthday

We were on vacation on Jackson's birthday, so we celebrated while we were there!

After our last day at Universal, we let J pick where he wanted to eat for his birthday dinner, and then of course, he got to choose his birthday dessert!

When we got back to the hotel, we surprised him with the presents that we had secretly packed!  He flipped out before he even opened them!

And then he obviously continued flipping out once he started opening them!

We love watching him open gifts!  He always gets so excited!
