This year, we did Jackson's birthday party a little different. Instead of having a get together at the house, we invited J's best friend and his brother to Legoland and then to lunch at The Rainforest Café! Well, we were going to go to Legoland, but we didn't know you needed to buy tickets so much in advance, so when Papa Bear tried to get them online this morning, the next available timeframe was an hour and a half later than we were going to be there, and only thirty minutes before our lunch reservations. So, we took the kiddos to the Lego store to let them each pick out a set of Legos (which we were going to do after playing there anyway!). You would have thought that was the party--they were so stinkin' excited!
They loved it! Jackson and his best buddy, Grant even picked out the same Lego set!
Since we couldn't go to Legoland, we went to Chuck E. Cheese instead, and the kids had so much fun!
The big kids had fun too!
I mean!
The cutest!
He was positive he wasn't too bug for this train!
My cute boys!
Sarah's always so sweet with Bubba!
Jackson played this Jurassic Park game for at least 20 minutes!
The boys were really excited when we got to The Rainforest Café!
These boys had the best time!
J loved watching all of the animals!
We had to get the birthday boy dessert...even if it was bigger than he is!
He picked out a lion balloon animal and had so much fun playing with it!
I'm so glad Jackson wanted to do this kind of a birthday party, because he loved it, and so did we!
